In January 2023, Waqas Hassan, began integrating ChatGPT into various aspects of his content business—from content creation to copywriting, designing, and email marketing. The breakthroughs in output quality and efficiency were unlike anything he’d experienced in the preceding seven years.
The remarkable results led him to hire part-timers and freelancers and started giving content services to people in his network at scale. His service offerings included creating specialized content for LinkedIn, social media, newsletters, and emails, as well as writing blogs, and articles, and developing complete brand architectures for clients. Soon he was attracting larger clients needing advanced solutions like ghostwriting books and creating online courses.
At this stage in late 2023, his old friend and a business leader, Waqas Aliemuddin, joined as a co-founder. Together, they began to integrate more generative AI tools, offering premium services to a diverse client base.
Despite the success, they consistently faced a critical challenge—the scarcity of a skilled workforce adept in generative AI skills, particularly in prompt engineering. Unlike common perceptions, prompt engineering is not merely a communication skill; it is a critical thinking skill that requires understanding similar to that of programming. You need to form mental structures on how to control inputs, variables, and conditions effectively to get to the desired outcome.
They started developing training modules initially intended for their own existing workforce and new hires to bring them up to speed with the skills. Before they knew it, companies in their network started asking them to give AI skills training for their teams.
Understanding this demand and recognizing the clear gap in the market, the concept of AiForAll began in early 2024.
